Free to wander

A ronin was a samurai with no master. We both love Japanese history and culture, and the name stuck because it fits how we work: not tied to one place, always heading somewhere new, picking up a new industry with every job.

Ben and Hadrien grew up together. Both studied media at university, then spent years freelancing on other people’s shoots, learning what works on the day and what gets in the way.

In 2023 they put that into a studio of their own. Today Red Ronin Studios covers weddings, conferences, brand films and monthly content, from St Albans to San Francisco.
